I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with pets and today volunteer with the San Francisco SPCA.

I’ve also always wanted a dog of my own. But as someone who loves to travel and is part of a bi-national family, I’ve often wondered how people make it work. Animal well-being has always been a top priority for me, and I never wanted a pet to feel like they were constantly being left behind, or put through stressful travel experiences.

As I started looking into the topic, I realized how difficult it was to find clear and reliable information. Answers were scattered across airline websites, government agencies, forums, and blogs, and it often took hours of research to piece everything together.
